MAINTENANCE WORKER I
The Loveland Housing Authority has an immediate opening for a full time Maintenance Worker I. The salary range is $3,150 to $4,575 per month and is based on experience. Compensation also contains a benefit package which includes: health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 457(b) retirement plan.
The Maintenance Worker I position is assigned responsibilities related to the construction, maintenance, repair and upkeep of the buildings and grounds of the Loveland Housing Authority’s properties. This may include, but is not limited to; assisting in the renovation of buildings, general maintenance and upkeep of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and other systems, minor repairs to machinery and other equipment, as well as general maintenance of grounds and lawns.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs., and have at least five years of building maintenance and/or construction related experience. Basic knowledge of computers required.
The successful applicant must have a high energy level, work well in team settings, and possess the ability to develop and maintain good relations with our residents. This position requires participation in 24-hour on call rotation duties, and a background check is required. All Loveland Housing Authority properties are smoke free. Housing Programs Coordinator
The Loveland Housing Authority is accepting applications for the position of Housing Programs Coordinator for a new 70-unit multi-family and veterans housing complex. Responsibilities include accepting applications, tour provision, assisting with initial lease up, completing income verifications, maintaining resident files, unit inspections, maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, and lease enforcement. The Housing Programs Coordinator will also collaborate with a wide group of professionals who assist previous homeless veterans in developing services for the veterans of the new complex. Experience in working with homeless populations, law and or rule/lease enforcement, regulation enforcement, Section 504, the American with Disabilities Act, and or social work is required. Previous housing experience and fluent Spanish is preferred.
Pay will be based on experience and includes a benefit package that includes: health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and a 457(b) retirement plan. It is expected that this position will reside onsite at the housing complex. EOE/MFVD/EHO
