ASSISTANCE FOR MANUFACTURED/MOBILE HOME REPAIR

The Larimer Home Improvement Program (LHIP), in cooperation with the City of Fort Collins and the City of Loveland, the Larimer Housing Authority and the Loveland Housing Authority has announced a special program being offered to homeowners in Larimer County. This program is being offered to qualified homeowners who require financing to repair or add accessibility to their current, owner occupied residence.  This program is run through the current Larimer Home Improvement Program and does have limited funding.

The maximum loan assistance is $12,000.  Funds can be used for new roofs, health and safety upgrades, installation of energy efficient insulation, windows, doors, repairs to plumbing, electrical services and/or accessibility needs. 

This funding is available to residents of the cities of Larimer County who qualify under the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines and whose household income does not exceed 80% of the area median income.  Owners who receive assistance are offered a loan with an interest rate between 0% to 2%, based upon household income.  Call for income eligibility or go to our website www.lovelandhousing.org
