Built in the late 70’s, Silver Leaf I and II senior apartment complex offers an independent living lifestyle.
Eligibility for these apartments include; aged 62+, disabled or handicapped, and income eligible. Rents are based on 30% of monthly adjusted income and rent includes all utilities.
Located on Maple Drive, Silver Leaf I & II apartment complexes are conveniently located near shopping centers, banks, post office, and schools. The Housing Authority also offers transportation to the local area shopping centers and local banks.
Silver Leaf I complex consists of 50 (1) bedrooms, all ground level apartments with shared hall entrances and private fenced patios. There are a limited number of handicapped accessible units available.
The Silver Leaf II complex consists of 72 (1) bedrooms, all ground level apartments with shared hall entrances and private fenced patios. There are a limited number of handicapped accessible units available.
Silver Leaf offers two common laundry facilities as well as dining/meeting rooms. Volunteers of America (a congregate meal site) provide lunch’s payable by donations.
This apartment buildings offer senior maintenance free living, recreational, and social programs. There is an on-site manager covering both complexes designed and managed for independent living. The waiting list for these homes can be lengthy – applications are encouraged and accepted at the Housing Authority Administrative Offices.
